The subject itself was enough to put the creature in a place of
discomfort. Talking of his misfortune and past mistakes – it roused
only sour thoughts  ( those of self-loathing and blame against those
in his life )  . So forgive him as he huffs and turns slightly away from
the composer. Broad shoulders appear hunched and a great horned
head hangs low. His paws hang at his side, digits twitching, as if the
Beast were itching to lash at something  ( to tear and destroy )  .

As Erik speaks, however, he finds his attention recaptured – torn
away from his own dismal thoughts, as it were. He turns his neck so
to better face the man, only for his eyes to find traces of a tickled
smirk beginning to form upon his face. Immediately, the coarse fur
down his neck begins to stand on end and lip curls lightly  ( just the
characteristics that remind a rabbit to stray far from wolves )  . The
deep rumble of a growl seems stuck in his throat as he suppresses
it, in some poor attempt to control his temper.

The very tone in the faux-phantom’s voice does little to encourage
this exercise. The Beast feels vexed with Erik’s response and, in
extension, his presence. A scowl forms totally on his countenance
and he leans forward only slightly. Surprsingly low in volume,
sonorous and monstrous voice sounds then in accusation :

      “ Do you mock me? ” 

reminder that while i’m not here a whole ton i’m keeping track of memes and things that are being sent to me and drafting them to respond at a later date.
